Microsoft Surface Book 2 is rumored to be released this October, creating much anticipation for the fans. Since the hybrid laptop's original model was released in the same month in 2015, rumors claim that a release trend is likely to be followed by the company. There are also speculations that the upgraded version will be available immediately.

However, Microsoft Surface Book 2 may not be released soon due to some reports that the tech company still anticipates the availability of Kaby Lake processor. Intel's processor is reported to provide a faster processing without consuming much of the laptop's battery. In addition, rumors also claim that Microsoft still looks forward to a Redstone 2 update for the Windows 10 OS, which is believed to release in Spring 2017.

Microsoft Surface Book 2 is expected to come with a 4K resolution and 3D display, with a USB 3.1 support for a quick data transfer.  Reports also suggest that the new device will sport Office Hub and OneClip features. Aside from that, the hybrid laptop is also reported to be launched along with the Surface Pro 5. With rumors continue to pour in, the fans look forward to the Surface Book 2 release, Techvicity reported.

Meanwhile, Microsoft Surface Book 2 is being compared to MacBook Pro 2016,  given that both are the most awaited gadgets these days. However, reports indicate that Surface Book 2 has some advantages, in spite of the fact that the two are believed to be almost closely the same. The new device from Microsoft comes with a contemporary design, and the reconstructed hinge makes the laptop thinner.

Microsoft Surface Book 2 specs are reportedly looking very good, although it is still not clear if the Surface Pen will be included in the package. The upcoming laptop is packed with the seventh generation Intel Core i5 and i7 CPUs, USB-C port, a 4K display and extended 14 hours of battery life. Given all these, experts believe that the company is about to give a premium offer to their customers, Android Origin reported.
