It has been quite a long time, but "Attack on Titan," also known as "Shingeki no Kyojin," will finally be released. This adaptation of the popular manga series has been on hold for almost three years.

The series initially has 25 episodes as of September 2013; however, after such, the show has taken numerous detours. It has released a pair of recap anime movies, which was combined from existing footages, and two badly received live action films.

The TV series' director Tetsuro Araki has even continued to create an original anime called "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress," which seems to be a revamp version of "Attack on Titan," as it features more refined character designs. It also features a pseudo-Japanese setting, as well as a train which can protect its people in place of a walled city, Rocket News 24 reported

However, after years of waiting for the series, there is finally an answer to the doubts of the fans. "Attack on Titan" Season 2 will officially premiere on the Spring of 2017, according to Release Date. This news was released during a fan-held event held on Jul. 3, wherein Isayama announced that the show may have taken some time to progress since its first season, but all throughout this time, they have been working on producing a good quality of anime series. He also hopes for the fans to enjoy it.

Not too much information has been released about the storyline of the second season; however, since Isayama was continuously working on "Attack on Titan" during its three-year hiatus, then it could be expected that "Attack on Titan 2" will be better than the first season. The promotional poster of the Attack on Titan featured Eren, Mikasa, and Armin. They were also joined by the remaining primary Titan triumvirate of Titan Eren, the Colossal Titan, and the Armored Titan.

The story will be focusing on Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman and their childhood friend Armin Arlert. Eren and his friends will be joining the military, so that they can have their revenge on the Titans.
