The most watched Netflix series, "Stranger Things" will have its Season 2. The creative team behind season one, Matt and Ross Duffer, a.k.a. the Duffer brothers, were reported revealed some secrets of the upcoming season.

"Stranger Things" Season 2 will run nine episodes, however, there is no announcement yet about its release date, according to Vox. But Season 2 is sure to be premiered in 2017.

In an interview, Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen, show producers, confirmed that the upcoming season is the continuation of Season 1. It will still follow the same characters while adding more mysteries.

The creators of "Stranger Things" Season 1, Matt and Ross Duffer, a.k.a. the Duffer brothers will return, and they will helm the series.

[SPOILER AHEAD]

For those who already watched the ending of Season 1, you witnessed that Will (Noah Schnapp) is safe and alive. However, the last episode left you a cliffhanger, which is the scene Will vomited some creature.

Another question, you see Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) disappeared after she faced the monster from the upside down world. It's not actually clear if El is dead, nor the monster.

Since El is not sure if she's dead, there's a theory suggests that she and the monster are one. The basis of this theory is the scene where El raises her hand, the monster raises its hand, thus, it looks like a reflection of each other. Before she releases her powers to kill that monster, she said, "I am the monster."

To give you some ideas about what to expect on Season, Duffer brothers shared some details with Entertainment Weekly.

During the interview, Duffer bros., confirmed that Season 2 is a continuation. Matt said that new episodes will venture a little bit outside the Hawkins, Indiana. He said, the opening scene does not take place in Hawkins.

Season 2 will also take you to the upside down world and some characters will return. Since they confirmed that there are returning characters on Season 2, is there a chance that El is alive?
