Team USA grabbed the gold medal in gymnastics event at the most prestigious global competition 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This is going to be their fifth gold medal in their back to back win since Romania in 2000 and 2004. The crowd favorite Simone Biles of Team USA might end up as the biggest superstar in Rio 2016 after winning five gold medals in a Single Game.  

Standing 4 feet 9 inches, the versatile Simone Biles was the key in securing USA's gold medal in gymnastics event. Team USA finished first with a score of 184.897 having an overwhelming lead against silver medalist Russia (176.688) and bronze medalist China (174.371). According to CNN, this was the first Olympic games of Biles and yet she delivered an outstanding performance. Despite being a newbie, Biles was dubbed as the crowd-favorite as she was seen performing flawlessly in vault, beam and floor routines.  

In an interview with BBC, the 19 years old Biles said, "It didn't feel like the Olympics. That helped us. It felt like one more routine and we kept calm. It's everything and more than I'd hoped to be." Biles made her debut in gymnast global competition last year 2013 at the American Cup and from there she became the three-time world all-around championship until 2015.

Team USA named themselves as Final Five, replacing the old ones "Fierce Five". The team was composed of Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Laurie Hernandez and Madison Kocian. According to them, they named their team after their coach Martha Karolyi who considered this year as her last. They sad, they wanted the name to be meaningful.
