Reports doing rounds online are anything to go by, Japanese video game developer and publisher, Square Enix will take the wraps off its much-awaited crossover role-playing game "Kingdom Hearts 3" at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 that will present its next edition in Los Angeles, early June this year. 

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is without-a-doubt among the AAA titles fans want to get their hands as soon as possible, however things may not go their way this time as the third installment to the "Kingdom Hearts" series is scheduled to launch after April 2017. This was confirmed via Square Enix's recently posted fiscal year business briefing, reported by Design&Trend.

Slides from the gathering divulge seven games that are expected to be released by March 2017, and "Kingdom Hearts III" is not one of them. That said, with E3 approaching nearer, the developer will probably offer fans more concrete details on the development of "Kingdom Hearts 3."

The team handling the development of "Kingdom Hearts 3" is currently paying attention on finishing "Final Fantasy 15," and with its official launching scheduled in Fall closing in, this is an understandable move. This is the cause for the delay, according to reports on MovieNewsGuide.

While the highly-anticipated RPG is currently making progress such as recording voice of minor characters, the major actors too will have to do same, this explains why the upcoming video game is clearly far remote at this moment.

As a minor reparation for the fans, "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" Final Chapter Prologue is scheduled to arrive this year as announced at last year's E3. The upcoming title will encompass regions of North America, Europe and Japan.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is the next rather than the 11th installment in the "Kingdom Hearts" series and it is the final chapter in the Dark Seeker epic.
