Capcom is now getting more serious about mobile gaming, looking for another home run in the mobile gaming market. The Japanese gaming giant is about to launch four more games this year. Capcom made the huge announcement via the official Capcom Twitter account.

The move represents a massive change to Capcom's business strategy, mobile gaming could be next. Some analysts said that Capcom might be trying to look for a fresh market, and the mobile gaming is growing fast. The brutal competition along with the fast-changing gaming environment have pushed the company to its limit. This gives Capcom no choice but to explore the mobile world and seek for a new market.

Overall, it still a smart move for a gaming company that is currently facing tough competition in the market. Mobile could be Capcom's ultimate weapon of choice in its struggle for survival in the brutal gaming market. This is 21st-century gaming market and Capcom is not in control. According to BleedingCool, the Osaka-based game developer has just announced the upcoming release of four of its classic arcade games for iOS and Android-powered mobile devices. These are the following: the"1942 Mobile," "Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando," "Ghost'N Goblins," and "Ghouls'N Ghosts."

At this time, there still no specific release window has been confirmed yet, but Capcom is said to be working on the release story now. For those players who are more interested in finding more about Capcom games, they can sign up for the Capcom Classics Pre-Registration List, which will notify them once the games become available.

"1942 Mobile," first released in 1984, is a vertically scrolling shoot-em-up that tasks players with battling through the entire enemy fleet, fighting wave after wave of Japanese fighter planes on their way to the enemy airbases at Tokyo, Japan.

"Ghost'N Goblins" is 1985 side-scrolling platformer games with a fantasy-horror setting, players must battle against demons and undead in order to rescue the princess. "Ghouls'N Ghosts," similar with "Ghost'N Goblins," is also a legendary side scrolling platformer that picks up where Ghost'N Goblins ends. Capcom now making it much bigger and more exciting.

"Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando" is a 1985 classic vertical scrolling shooter, but with a single player only shooting out hundreds of enemies with a submachine gun and a limited supply of hand grenades. The mobile games will feature Classic or Casual modes that fans will appreciate. But the games will also feature modern game control to suit gameplay on touchscreen devices, such as things like an auto-fire button.

As for the price and availability, the Capcom mobile games are expected to cost around $2.99 in Apple's App Store and the Google Play Store. There's still no words about the exact release date, but GameRant reported earlier that Capcom will be launching the games within the next few months.
