‘Injustice 2’: Black Canary Revealed, Another Character On The Way [Video]

By

Last Tuesday, NetherRealm ramping up promotion, revealed Black Canary as part of the roster of playable characters in the upcoming brawling game, "Injustice 2." However, the developers are not done yet; another character is reportedly going to be revealed soon.

NetherRealm announced that the next bit of information about the next character to be added to the roster of pugilists in "Injustice 2" would be released anytime today, February 7, according to Gamespot. The news would likely be accompanied by screenshots and the character's trailer, same with the other characters of the game.

"Injustice 2" enter Black Canary

The video shows off the martial arts skills of Black Canary against titans in the DC universe. She was shown squaring it off with Brainiac, Atrocitus, The Blue Beetle and more. She was shown using technology-based attacks, as well as her signature "Canary Cry" scream, Game Rant reported.

Her feats of athleticism in game make Black Canary one of the faster characters on the roster of "Injustice 2." Additionally, Black Canary also has MMA-inspired grappling attacks at her disposal as well. Check out her moves in the video below.

"Injustice 2" beta codes

Additionally, Ed Boon, NetherRealm creative director announced that the third wave of limited beta codes would be sent out over the weekend for Xbox One and PS4 owners. Accordingly, the beta is a limited test, and as such, not everyone can be accommodated. Nevertheless, NetherRealm is reportedly focused on introducing more character to the roster.

"Injustice 2" next character reveal

It is speculated that Green Arrow might be the next character to be revealed today. Poison Ivy and Bane have been featured but no formal announcements have been made if they will be officially on the roster. Accordingly, not having Green Arrow in the game would be sort of a step back. Green Arrow made his way in the original game as a "special skin."

If Green Arrow is not revealed today, he still has until the official release of the game on May 16th to make his presence known. "Injustice 2" will be available for Android, iOS, PS4, and Xbox One.
