LeEco X10 to Take Smartphone Camera to The Next Level; 6GB RAM in Tow; Ready to Compete with Pixel, iPhone

By

There isn't much hype about LeEco devices but this particular handset could steal the limelight at MWC 2017.

LeEco X10 Specifications Leaked

The report on GFXBench lists the X10 flagship as a Marshmallow device sporting a Snapdragon 820 chipset. While the processor is not an oomph for 2017 but this is still considered a great powerhouse. The optics pack 13 MP rear-camera and 16 MP front-facing camera.

It's unclear whether the list of hardware specs is legitimate especially with a selfie shooter packing more pixels than its rear one. However, Oppo has done this before with its F1s and the Zenfone Selfie gets 16 MP on both sides. Thus, it won't be a surprise to find out there's another 'selfie expert' in the house.

What's interesting is the quad camera module that will enable users to capture 360-degree videos, according to Android Headlines. This is a new thing in the realm of smartphone and if LeEco X10 will finally use such sensors, it will surely be a great alternative to the long-reign iPhone and recently-introduced Google Pixel.

The high-end smartphone will be launched in two variants. The 4 GB of RAM will be paired with 32 GB of internal storage whilst the bigger 6 GB model will get 64 GB native memory.

A 6 GB of RAM could ensure a smooth performance as more Android apps are installed. LeEco is comparable to high-end flagships like OnePlus 3 or Xiaomi Mi 5s albeit there may still be more works to be done in the other departments.

LeEco X10 Release Date

The leaked listing suggests that LeEco X10 will be unveiled soon, possibly at the Mobile World Congress 2017 next month, Phone Arena reported. Whether or not the handset will live up to the expectation, everything remains to be seen.
