Nintendo's auto-running video game, "Super Mario Run," has been up for grabs for Apple's iOS devices for over a month now, and Android device users are still waiting for the game's release. Fortunately, Nintendo officially announced that the mobile game might arrive for Android devices on March 2017.

The Twitter post of Nintendo, as translated from Japanese, stated that the Android version of Nintendo's auto-running video game will be available in March 2017. The company also reminded game enthusiasts that they can sign up on the Google Play Store to pre-register for the "Super Mario Run" game in order to receive a notification once it is live.

Nonetheless, Nintendo's auto-running video game was first unveiled back in September 2016 during Apple's iPhone 7 event. The "Super Mario Run" launched for iOS devices for free on Dec. 15.

In spite of that, players would have to pay $10 in order to unlock the full game. The free version of the "Super Mario Run" only allows gamers to play through three levels.

Just four days after its launch, the mobile game garnered 40 million downloads from the App Store. The "Super Mario Run" has since become the fastest-selling iOS game in the history of Apple's App Store, according to CNET.

On the other hand, Nintendo's "Super Mario Run" recently rolled out a new update ushering in a temporary event, dubbed as the Loads of Coins. The "Super Mario Run" event, which runs until Jan. 26, will give a player 1.5 times as many coins as normal when the player wins the Toad Rally matches.

Unfortunately, this bonus in the game will not extend to the amount of Toads the player wins. If a player loses a match, the player will receive the same amount of coins as they normally would. BGR reported.
