‘Gears of War 4’ News & Update: ‘Gears of War 4’ Double XP Weekend Coming To Mend Server Issues [VIDEO]

Close

A few days ago, The Coalition unleashed the "Gears of War 4" Onyx Gold Gear pack. Now, the video game developer have announced that the third-person shooter game's double xp weekend is up next.

Originally, the Onyx Gold Gear pack for "Gears of War 4" was available only to season pass owners as part of The Coalition's playlist in the video game. Nonetheless, the developers hit on their official Twitter account and announced that the playlist will be extended and a double xp weekend event will be included in the "Gears of War 4" video game for the upcoming weekend.

Since the launch of the third-person shooter game, servers have been a bit spotty. But the good thing is that the video game developer is quick to fix them, and usually ends up rewarding the "Gears of War 4" gamers with the double xp weekend events.

Nevertheless, for those "Gears of War 4" players who don't want to spend any real money on the game, these upcoming weekends are the best way to gather some cards in the game in order to further customize the gamer's play sessions.

Since the Onyx Gold Gear pack was up for grabs in the game, servers have had some issue which is why the developers have announced this weekend to make up for the fiasco. Wherein, the forum post of "Gears of War 4" mentions that they are currently looking at swapping over things in the back end.

The developer tends to stop processing past events and process new games only. Also, they will do some work early next week to deal with it in a separate queue.

That being the case, there is no word from The Coalition on exactly when the double xp weekend event of "Gears of War 4" kicks off, and game enthusiasts are hoping for more information will be shared soon.
