"Thor: Ragnarok" has been kept under wraps, typical of Marvel fashion, but a movie synopsis from the Disney website confirms the inclusion of "Doctor Strange" actor Benedict Cumberbatch completing the Thor-Hulk team up. Moreover, Marvel Studios have yet to release a trailer for the movie and fans are speculating if this is a marketing strategy or delayed by the CGI Hulk, a time-consuming process in editing.

"Thor: Ragnarok" Storyline

There is not much information about Marvel's "Thor: Ragnarok" other than what the comics reveal that Thor and Hulk will be on a distant planet fighting intergalactic villains. Now a movie synopsis has just been released in the official website of Disney that the duo will be joined by the sorcerer supreme played by Benedict Cumberbatch from "Doctor Strange," Moviefone reported

The synopsis reveals that Doctor Strange has an important part to play, but this could be in a cameo or supporting role. This participation has been teased in the post-credit scenes of "Doctor Strange" in October where Thor played by Chris Hemsworth was in the Sanctum Sanctorum seeking the help of the sorcerer to locate Loki.

"Thor: Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi is reported to have shot the scene, another indication that Doctor Strange may figure prominently, if not lengthily, in the coming movie. Moreover, Mark Ruffalo's Hulk will also get plenty of screen time as teased in last summer's San Diego Comic-Con where a body armor similar to the Marvel comics "Planet Hulk" was revealed.

Marvel Studios have not yet released a trailer for "Thor: Ragnarok," which may be too early, but other movies have done so even with a much later showing like "Justice League," which is scheduled on Nov. 17. Marvel Studios have only provided a funny clip featuring Hemsworth explaining why Thor was absent in "Captain America: Civil War" also in SDCC as revealed in the video clip below.

Other reports say that it could be a marketing strategy to keep interest high or delayed by the CGI Hulk, which is a time-consuming process in editing, Chicago Tribune reported. "Thor: Ragnarok" is set to be released on Nov. 3.
