‘Final Fantasy XV’ News & Update: Interesting Details About ‘Final Fantasy 15’ DLC; Additional Characters Expected [VIDEO]

By

The Square Enix has launched the open world action role-playing game "Final Fantasy XV" for a while, and the momentum of the game developer's 10-year effort has yet to wind down. Fortunately for FFXV fans, there's still six expansion packs that are expected from the video game.

The six expansion packs of "Final Fantasy XV" will include the Episodes Ignis, Promptus and Gladio. All of these six DLCs of "Final Fantasy XV" will venture into previously uncharted territory in the main game. The inclusion of Gilgamesh, who will only be available in Episode Gladio, might be enough to convince "Final Fantasy XV" players to get the DLCs.

Out of the six DLC expansion packs of "Final Fantasy XV," the most special might be the Episode Gladio. As producer Haruyoshi Sawatari stated that Episode Gladio will explore why and how Gladio got a scar when the "Final Fantasy XV" character said he will be out for business. Also, the Episode Gladio will bring back the classic villain Gilgamesh, according to Digital Spy.

According to iDigital Times, Gilgamesh is famous as a sword thief and a robust fighter who has appeared in different forms throughout the Final Fantasy franchise. It's likely that Gilgamesh will come with a new and different form in the FFXV Episode Gladio as well. Nevertheless, Gilgamesh is a comedic Final Fantasy character, the one who always breaks the fourth wall and even comes with his own soundtrack.

Furthermore, it appears that the upcoming DLC of FFXV will also allow gamers to explore different regions of the main "Final Fantasy" game that couldn't be explored before. In spite of that, none of the FFXV DLCs and expansions are out yet.

On the other hand, president Hajime Tabata revealed that they plan to expand the main game further. Square Enix will be introducing a God mode, customizable avatars, new scenes, as well as additional playable characters outside Noctis, Ignis, Promptus and Gladio, GameSpot reported.
