‘Tekken 7’ Roster Will Include Kuma and Panda; New Online Tournament Introduced

By

"Tekken 7"players are delighted to know that Kuma and Panda are back. At the same time, a different online tournament will be introduced in the upcoming fighting game.

"Tekken 7" With The Two Bears

"Tekken 7" is expected to come out on 2017 for the first time as a console release.  Kuma and Panda are the latest addition to the game. This comes as no surprise since both bears have been regular mainstays in the fighting game series.

Katsuhiro Harada made the announcement during the 2106 Iron Fist King finals held on Tokyo recently. The producer said that players expect something different from the two bears.  In the past, Kuma and Panda basically share the same body type. The developer simply uses a palette swap to keep their identity separate.  The two also have the same moves although their ending is different from each other.

"Tekken 7" - Bears Have Separate Moves

The bears this time are given their own fighting moves and Rage Arts. Kuma and Panda are also no longer exchanging palette. Each will have its own palette so to speak. "Tekken 7" fans can see their unique fighting style via a promo video trailer. Kuma uses a Tuna fish to strike out his opponents. Meanwhile, Panda looks like a sure winner with her volleyball spike. No doubt, a Kuma and Panda match will be one of the most popular among players.  The bears' moves though are one of the hardest to execute, according to some pundits.

"Tekken 7" Bears' History

"Tekken 7" players or at least the veterans are well aware of Kuma's love for Panda. Unfortunately, the female bear has no intention of returning Kuma's affection except by giving him a punch or kick.

New "Tekken 7" Online Competition Gameplay

Harada also teased a new online "Tekken 7" tournament. Participants will be grouped into several brackets where players are eliminated using the single and double elimination play.
