‘Clash of Clans’ December 2016 Update: To Feature Goblin Versus Wizard Battle; Sea Battles?

"Clash of Clans" will reportedly have a December update and there are on-going rumors over what kind of new features will be included. The discovery of ship sprites in the game has raised rumors that a sea battle feature will be included in the game.

Air Defenses And Wall Will Get Upgraded?

Some CoC pundits are predicting that the December update will feature a new level Air defenses, sweepers and walls. It has been quite a while since they received an upgrade. These have also sparked rumors that the Air units will also receive their own upgrades in order to balance the gameplay in "Clash of Clans."

Shipwreck Sprites Trigger Sea Battles Rumor

One avid "Clash of Clans" data miner was able to discover a shipwreck sprite hidden in the game, according to iDigital Times. These lead to various speculations that mobile game developer Supercell is planning to a sea battle feature in the game. There also rumors that sea monsters and mermaids will be included as well. Unfortunately, these are all speculations and there are no proofs yet to back it up.

Fortunately, the CoC data miner was able to uncover additional information. The Shipwreck is assumed to be a repairable one and those with Town Halls level 4 or above are the only players allowed to repair it. The cost of the repairs is estimated to 50,000 Gold. A number of CoC veterans theorize that the ship will not be used in sea battle but instead use for exploration or resource gathering. The mechanics for of such rumored feature however, is still unknown.

Another rumored feature is the goblin versus wizard battle but there is little information about it as of the moment. There are evidences however, that Supercell is planning something for the Red Day event. A number of CoC units and structures were found bearing red color and markings.
