Vivo Xplay 6 Is Last Phone To Roll-Out In 2016? Specs, Price, Release Date Revealed; Vivo X9, X9 Plus Earlier Release On Nov. 16


Vivo Xplay 6 has reportedly been listed among the smartphones that will be announced this Month. The phone is rumored to sport the same metal body as the Xplay 5 along with a quad-core processor and longer battery life. The handset is also said to be distributed to the stores in December.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer recently shipped a few devices in Q3 2016 but significantly lesser than Huawei and OPPO. However, the company also increased their shipping numbers for more than 100 percent in comparison to the same period in 2015, Android Headlines reported. The company is speculated to introduce its new flagship phone Vivo Xplay 6 as well as the Vivo X9 and Vivo X9 Plus handsets soon.

Vivo previously introduced the Vivo Xplay 6 predecessor in March 2016. The Xplay 5 featured a metal phone with curved display in the front like the Galaxy S7 Edge. On the other hand, the Xplay 6 is said to be introduced in China within the month and will go on sale in December.

If true, the Vivo Xplay 6 will come packed with a QHD (2560 x 1440) display, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal Storage. The handset is also said to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor, Adreno 530 GPU and 4,000mAh battery. The handset will come with Vivo Funtouch OS 3.0 pre-installed on the device as well.

Meanwhile, the Vivo X9 and the X9 Plus are expected to launch on Nov. 16, Phone Arena reported. The event may also see the launch of the Vivo Xplay 6. Moreover, the XP will sport a dual camera setup with 20MP and 8MP in the front and 16MP rear camera. The Snapdragon 653 processor will be included along with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

Vivo Xplay 6, on the other hand will hit the stores by December. The handset is also rumored to roll out with dual cameras as well.
