"Beauty and the Beast" is finally going to get the reboot that it needed, and with actress Emma Watson as Belle, we can expect to see some changes.

Most will fondly remember Belle as the obedient daughter who's willing to do anything for her father. She appeared to be a simple minded girl, but Watson's interpretation of Belle is going to be a tad different.

People reported that there will be some changes but these changes aim to make it more realistic. For example, we cannot expect Watson to wear flat ballerina shoes. The actress explained that if someone is going through the forest and is going to ride a horse and walk for miles, a pair of boots is a more practical footwear.

A new backstory was also created for Belle in "Beauty and the Beast." According to Entertainment Weekly, Belle is going to be an inventor. Watson revealed that in the movie, her character invented the washing machine. In doing so, she got more spare time which allowed her to read more and this goes with everything that Watson represents.

It was just recently when Watson got involved in a special project where she has hidden books in New York subway. The actress hopes to spread awareness on women's rights. The idea was to read the book while riding the train and leave it there again for someone else to enjoy.

The actress is really dedicated to fight for what she believes in that she posted this on her twitter account.

Today I am going to deliver Maya Angelou books to the New York subway. Then I am going to fight even harder for all the things I believe in.

Aside from being Belle in "Beauty and the Beast," Watson is the founder of a feminist book club "Our Shared Self."
