Information about the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has recently leaked in China. The news contained the information about the expected cost of the top model phone, which is about CNY 5,699. If this base price is true, then the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be the most expensive phone in the Xiaomi line. Fans' hopes for an affordable price have been led out of the way.

According to rumors circulating online, Mi Note 2 models will not cost lower than CNY 4,999. This model costs around $742 in the United States or €674 in the United Kingdom, considering the current exchange rates. This model may have lesser price range as compared to the high-end models, but it boasts of more qualities than what is expected. The Mi Note 2's price is heading into the premium price ranges, thus, this is reported to be Xiaomi's first model which goes up into the premium range status.

The price for the Mi Note 2 can be considered justifiable, considering the features that buyers will get from it. As what was shown in the leaked photos, the Mi Note 2 has a curved touchscreen similar to the Samsung Galaxy Edge range. It also has a metal frame-enclosed dual rear camera. Given all of these features, a premium price is just simply worth the considerations, GSM Arena reported.

Previous rumors have identified that the Mi Note 2 is to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Soc. It is equipped with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and a 64/128/256GB internal storage variants.

It is also possible that the device will have a resolution of 1080p. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be officially released on Oct. 25, wherein the company will have the device on sale on Nov. 1 in China, according to Globe Mobiles.
