Asus Zenfone 3 vs Oppo F1s: Design and display

Zenfone 3 and Oppo F1s have different build and design although both are in metal constructions sporting Corning Gorilla Glass. Zenfone 3 looks rigid and masculine but Oppo F1s looks fashionably softer.

Oppo F1s configurations are 5.5 inch display, 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and 267 ppi pixel density. Zenfone 3 is better from the rival when it comes to display quality as it has 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and 401 ppi pixel density.

Oppo F1s still runs Android Lollipop whilst Zenfone 3 runs Marshmallow. Both phones have dedicated slot for memory expansion and offering 32 GB internal storage with 3 GB RAM. However, Zenfone 3 offers a higher tier option, 64 GB/4 GB RAM.

Zenfone 3 packs Snapdargon 625 and Oppo F1s is powered by Mediatek MT 6750 - both with octa-core GPU, as listed in GSM Arena. A video compares the two handsets performance and Zenfone 3 has won the competition scoring considerably higher benchmark than Oppo F1s. It seems that Zenfone 3 navigation is smoother than on Oppo F1s as well.

Oppo F1s is dubbed as the selfie expert but when looking at the features brought in the optics department - Oppo F1s has 13 MP rear camera and a whopping 16 MP of selfie camera without any significant feature that makes them special aside from touch focus, PDA and LED flash for its rear shooter. What is worse, the front shooter does not get extra features, not even an LED flash.

Zenfone 3 rear camera packs 16 MP with more compelling features such as laser autofocus, OIS 4-axis and dual LED flash. Plus, an 8 MP of front shooter.

Zenfone 3 already packs USB type C port while Oppo F1s still stuck with micro USB for charging. The only drawback of Zenfone 3 would be the 3,000 mAh battery. Zenfone 3 takes the lead in camera and processor whilst Oppo F1s wins the battery capacity with its 3,075 mAh.
