‘MacBook Pro 2016’ Updates: Apple Waiting for Intel Kaby Lake Processor; ‘Couple of Months’ Means Q1 in 2017?

"MacBook Pro 2016" has been in the waiting list for more than a year now since its last update. Rumors suggested that there would be no MacBook Pro until the end of 2016 since Apple is waiting for the availability of Intel Kaby Lake processor in 2017. CEO Tim Cook said fans should wait a couple of months, does this mean first quarter of 2017?

It was year 2013 when MacBook Pro had its major update. Fans were excited for the Apple Event last September 7 hoping to hear about the newest "MacBook Pro 2016". But they were left disappointed since the event was focused on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Thus, MacWorld UK announced that "MacBook Pro 2016" could be launched in October.

Rumors and speculations about the launching of the newest Apple laptop has been flooding the internet recently. Inquisitr made a bold prediction that "MacBook Pro 2016" release date will not be finalized not unless the Intel Kaby Lake processor becomes available in 2017.

Also, another prediction from the same site said that Apple sales for the next quarter is anticipated to lower down which should compel the Cupertino-based company to push the launching of MacBook Pro 2016. However, CEO Tim Cook's reply to a fan's e-mail regarding the release of MacBook Pro signified that the laptop will hit the shelves by the first quarter of 2017.

Aside from the rumored "MacBook Pro 2016" release date, its specs are also making a noise in the community most especially when it mentioned the OLED touch bar, Touch ID and the inclusion of Apple pencil compatible trackpad. It exacerbates the excitement most especially when MacBook Pro is speculated to be a headphone jack-less laptop - the first in the world. And of course, Apple's innovation will lead the world to a laptop with cellular capabilities through its 4G connectivity feature.

"MacBook Pro 2016" price has not been revealed yet by Apple.
