Close

iOS 10 download is expected to have its launch for the non registered Apple developers and the public in the coming week. The iOS 10 GM is available only for registered developers currently. However, since it will be available for more users in the coming week, here is a guide on how to download the software.

For users to get their hands on the iOS 10 download, the first step to perform is to proceed to the Settings menu and look for the General option. Then, users should look for the Software Update selection and locate the Update button. The device will then show onscreen instructions that the users need to follow to download and install the iOS 10 GM, BGR reported.

However, users need to keep in mind that the iOS 10 GM is only compatible for iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, Christian Today reported. So, it is recommended that users check their devices first before clicking on the iOS 10 download button.

For those who wonder about the difference between the iOS 10 download available to registered developers and the one for the non-registered developers to be launched next week, reports claimed that both versions are similar. Basically, it is suggested that the only difference between the two are their release dates. So, there seems nothing to boast about the current iOS 10 download available for registered developers as the release date difference is only a week, ZDNet reported.

iOS 10 download public launch is expected to roll out on Sept. 13, Tuesday. The iOS 10 release date will come a few days before the much awaited iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus launches. On top of that, it has been reported that iOS 10 GM update is primarily designed following the iPhone 7 keynote. During the time, its betas is perceived by users as one of the most stable Apple betas in history. Watch the video on iOS 10 Beta 8 features & changes review here:
