By

Acer left the Germany's IFA show with so many laptop choices for the consumers. Among the highlighted laptop is the Predator 21 X which is dubbed as the monster by others and insane by others who are obviously not impressed. This is a fight between expectations versus reality, is Acer Predator 21 X worth every hard-earned penny?

"Acer Predator 21 X" is insane according to CNET review. Looking at its features, the laptop is the most ridiculous laptop for gaming ever not just because it's the first with a curved screen but it comes with never-before features built with outstanding specs. Starting off from its weight of 17 pounds equivalent to 8 kilograms (imagine the total weight of seven Acer Swift 7 laptops), the laptop displayed superiority among competitors.

"Acer Predator 21 X" specs include two (2) GeForce GTX 1080 GPUs, built-in five cooling fans, SSD storage of four terabytes and powered by the 7th generation Intel Core Kabylake series processor. Aside from the 21-inch curved display, it also inhibits a 1560 x 1080 screen resolution supported by NVIDIA G-sync for a smoother and game-friendly output.

In addition to the spectacular list of features, Engadget revealed the Tobii eye tracking hardware that enables the player to aim and look around paths, four (4) speakers and two subwoofers or known as the 4.2 channel audio system and an illuminated keyboard equipped with Cherry MX mechanical switches and a hidden RGB Led under the number pad. It's worth mentioning that the number pad can be flipped over to use as a touchpad.

For the price, the Europe Head of Acer told CNET that the new flagship will cost around $5,000. Accordingly, shipment will start on the first quarter of 2017 so fans still have a lot of time to save up every penny. Pre-orders will also start on the first quarter of next year.
