New 'Pokemon GO' Cheat: Player Hacks; Tracks All Pokemons; Pokéstops, Gyms on Google Map

While some Pokemon GO players prefer to stay calm while catching them all; the others seem to be ever-curious to find out and reveal the locations of gyms, Pokestops, and most of all the monsters.

"Pokemon GO" cheat: A developer hacks the AR game; displays nearby Pokemons, Pokestops and Gyms on Google Map

Ahmed Almutawa was an ordinary player until he decided to hack Pokemon GO and posted it on Reddit. Speaking to The Verge, Alumtawa reveals the process to display all the items every player needs right on the Google Map.

The cheat works like this. It extracts the data from "Pokemon GO" and then uses Google map to view it. Upon showing the result, there is this bird-eye view of the location you choose along with tiny icons dotting specific Pokemons and Pokestops as well.

This helpful tool enables players to know how far they need to go and also filter the monsters based on what their needs.

The hack uses Python in order to reveal the monsters on the map. While it looks easy, the process is nowhere near that. Based on the video of another player who installed the map, users have to go through the command line to install it. Luckily, you can find the outline in Reddit. The developers are reportedly trying to make the cheat more user-friendly so that you don't need to do the coding by yourself.

Other "Pokemon GO" cheat to try to hack locations

A YouTube account named NintendoLife uploaded how-to trick to use the hack and reveal PokeStops anywhere in the world. "Pokemon GO" map does show the neighboring Pokestops and gyms. The player uses his iPhone and demonstrates the app on United Kingdom map. It reveals blue dots refer to Pokestops and the red dots refer to gyms.
