The Brazil Men's Soccer team finally found its scoring touch at the 2016 Rio Olympics, as they defeated Denmark 4-0 to advance to the quarterfinals and refrain from another embarrassing elimination in front of the home fans.

Brazil forward Gabriel Barbosa Almeida scored twice, and Gabriel Fernando de Jesus and Luan Guilherme de Jesus Vieira netted a goal each at the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador, to keep the nation's hopes alive of winning the Olympics soccer gold medal for the first time.
