'Pokemon Sun And Moon' Latest News: Japanese Trailer Confirms CoroCoro Magazine New Characters

By

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" recently released Japanese trailer confirmed previously rumored new Pokemons and characters. The video included the villains Team Skull and a few members like Guzma and Plumeria.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" new characters, Sunabaa, Shirodesuna, Yowashi and Nuikoguma were previously revealed by the Japanese manga magazine CoroCoro. New Alola forms for Meowth and Marowak were also revealed in CoroCoro's magazine issue, Gematsu reported.

  1. The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" new creature, Sunabaa, according to CoroCoro is a ghost/ground type of Pokemon. His name is a riff on the word sandbox which is sunaba in Japanese. The creature then changes to another ghost/ground type of Pokemon named Shirodesuna. His name means a castle of sand in Japanese.

  2. Another new "Pokemon Sun and Moon" creature is named Yowashi, a water-type fish Pokemon that can change its form from a single fish to a school of fish. There is also Nuikoguma, a pre-evolved form of Bewear and is also normal/fighting type of Pokemon, Game N Guide reported.

  3. CoroCoro also showed two new Alola forms for Meowth and Marowak in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." It is noted that Alolan Meowth ditches its normal type and becomes a dark type. Because of this change in type, its white and brown fur coat changes to gray and white.

  4. Alolan Marowak, on the other hand, ditches being a ground type to become a fire/ghost type of Pokemon in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." Marowak is quite interesting and unique as it is the first time a player comes across one in a combination of red, blue and yellow. This Pokemon is actually the ghost of a Marowak that died at the hands of Team Rocket.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" is expected to arrive in November. CoroCoro has a few more months to release more Pokemon information and updates about the game. In the magazine's latest issue, CoroCoro left something to look forward to as the next month's issue is revealed to have a poster that features what is described as Rockruff's Secret Evolution. Here is a "Pokemon Sun and Moon" sample trailer here.
