Apple Watch 2 And ‘Samsung Gear S3’ In A Tough Competition When Released in September

As Samsung Electronics is about to release the smartwatch "Gear S3," Apple Inc. is also planning to launch the "Apple Watch 2."

Accordingly, the tech giants are expected to compete in not only their smartphones, but also the company's wearable device markets.

While the multinational technology company Apple Inc. is also preparing for the release of their latest products. The tech company will launch the smartwatch "Apple Watch 2" after September. The upcoming smartwatch of Apple is expected to feature a larger battery to improve battery life and the global positioning system (GPS).

A report surfaced that Apple would use a One Glass Solution display in the latest Apple Watch, rather than the glass-on-glass technology. Thus, the upgraded display help reduce the thickness and weight of the forthcoming Apple Watch, based on the report of Value Walk.

However, it has been speculated that when Apple will unleash the "Apple Watch," the company may sell as many as 6 million units. That may be possible if the current survey data turn out to have gotten the public pulse right, Computer World reported.

As the observation of Apple's representative claimed that the "Apple Watch 2" is slated to sell more devices in the first 6 months compared to the original device has sold since its launch.

The sales statistics of Apple's upcoming smartwatch were based on a NextWorth survey across 540 current smartwatch or fitness tracker owners.
