It is still a long wait until the "Game of Thrones" returns to the television screens, so fans attended the San Diego Comic-Con to scrape any information they could find.

Many of the cast members of the "Game of Thrones" movie series are no-show in the San Diego Comic-Con. The notable absences included Lena Headey, Kit Harington, Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams and Emilia Clarke. However, fans are still more than happy to take whatever information they could get. The Game of Thrones is still an all-time fever and averaged 25 million viewers from all platforms. It also racked 23 Emmy awards nominations.

The "Game of Thrones" panel was moderated by  "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" star and creator Rob McElhenney who is also a huge "Game of Thrones" superfan. He got right into the point of addressing the long layoff of the series by asking David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the showrunners of the movie. Benioff answered that it's all about the weather. The Season 7 of the movie series they need to shoot in places with trees and in order to show winter, they need to wait until the leaves of the trees fall off, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

When the cast are asked who should die first in the Season 7, Sansa (Sophie Turner) suggested Cersei Lannister while Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) hopes to see Aeron Greyjoy die first just because he did not like the character, E-News reported.

Kristian Nairn, the actor who played Hodor, says he was overwhelmed by the support following the death of the character in Season 6. The death of Hodor was heroic and emotional so the character's influence stretched everywhere.

Another death in Season 6 was that of Ramsay Bolton. This death however, was more celebrated instead of mourned. The character was defeated by Jon Snow and was killed after. Iwan Rheon, the actor who played as Ramsay Bolton, think that his character, who is widely hated, had some redeeming characters. Rheon said that Ramsay is just looking for a father's love and acceptance. He also added that Ramsay had a tough upbringing.
