'Pokemon Sun And Moon' Characters Kiteruguma And Mimikkyu Revealed In The Latest Issue Of Japanese Magazine CoroCoro [VIDEO]

By

Pokemon fans, rejoice! The latest issue of Japanese magazine, CoroCoro has unveiled a couple of brand-new creatures for the main "Pokemon Sun and Moon" titles.

Although "Pokemon Go" seems to be grabbing all the attention right now, the recently released trailer for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" is a reminder that the Nintendo 3DS games are still highly anticipated. The two-minute footage gives a sneak peek at new gameplay, and delves deeper into new modes besides divulging new Pokemon - Kiteruguma and Mimikkyu.

Kiteruguma is a Normal/Fighting Pokemon that looks like a bear and utilizes its abilities Fluffy and Klutz and has the capacity of breaking anything in two, according to translations made by Serebii.

For those unfamiliar with Klutz, it restricts hold items from having an affect while this Pokemon is holding it.

Those residing in the Alola region are terrified of Kiteruguma, so much so, they have placed warning signs on the Pokemon, who seems to be hard as nails - he is so strong that when he hugs his trainer, he could end up endangering their life.

Mimikkyu, on the other hand is a Ghost/Fairy type Pokemon that employs an ability dubbed, Disguise.

This Pokemon hates sunlight and prefers to hole up in the dark. It is covered in cloth that enables the Pokemon to dodge the sun. Anyone who attempts to take off the cloth that covers Mimikkyu will become afflicted with an ailment, VG 24/7 reported.

The new Pokemon, Mimitsukiyu and Kiteruguma joins an array of brand-new "Sun and Moon Pokemon" that have recently made their appearances online - including Salandit, the first Poison and Fire-type Pokemon and the "Alola 7" that surfaced online before the scheduled July 1 announcement.
