Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 vs Sony XperiaXA Dual Review: Specs Compared, Pros and Cons

By

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Sony XperiaXA Dual are two smartphones with turbo charging features. Which one is better?

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 vs Sony XperiaXA Dual specs comparison

The dual SIM smartphones both offer impressive specs but on the specs, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 already wins the competition by having 16 MP lens for its rear camera. Sony XperiaXA Dual has less powerful lens with only 13 MP.

Redmi Note 3 is slightly bigger than XperiaXA Dual with 5.5 inch display and 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution with 403 ppi pixel density. Apparently, XperiaXA Dual which has scratch-resistant glass, comes with 5 inch display, 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and a disappointing 294 ppi pixel density.

However, Sony XperiaXA Dual is packed with Octa core processor that matches its 2 GB of RAM. The device runs Android Marshmallow operating system. On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with its impressive specs only has quad-core 'brain' with two RAM options, 2 GB and 3 GB, GSMArena reported.

Another issue on Redmi Note 3 is that its MicroSD slot uses SIM 2 slot. This means, you can't have both SIM cards on because you have to choose whether to expand the storage capacity or having both phone numbers active.

Many Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 reviews praised the smartphone for its battery. Xiaomi is considerate enough to power up its smartphone with 4,000 mAh battery cell whilst Sony's XperiaXA Dual only gets 2,300 mAh battery. Both are non removable but offering turbo charging feature, FoneArena reported.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 vs Sony XperiaXA Dual Pros and Cons

If you are looking for an elegant smartphone with strong configuration and yet, price is not your issue; Sony XperiaXA should be your best bet. However, it is important to consider the average battery life with such great features.

If you are looking for smartphone premium specs but mid-range budget and longer battery life, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is worth the price.
