BioWare's newly released action role-playing game "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is getting some big update this week. The developer has just released the latest patch 1.07 minor update, bringing a small but specific bug fixes. The patch 1.07 will be applicable for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The newly released patch 1.07 is quite small compared to the previous 1.06 update. The update brings only a few bugs fixes along with some improvements on stability issue. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" producer Michael Gamble said that patch 1.07 will take around MB of hard disk space, Andromeda players are expected to encounter some issues during the update process. They are advised to re-launch the game and go online again.

Fortunately, the latest Patch 1.07 has brought in several useful functions on board. It fixes the problem where the server will automatically disconnect upon sending strike teams during the APEX missions. The latest patch also addresses the issue on the UNC Outlaw of the SOS quest. It also fixes the issue that prevented the player from completing the Nomad upgrades/shield Crafting quest.

The patch 1.07 will be downloaded automatically from Origin. The full details of the bug fixes and patch release notes can be found at Wccftech. The patch 1.07 comes at a time when BioWare announced that the title will be placed on the backburner.

Publisher EA has recently confirmed that some of BioWare Montreal developer's staff have been moved to EA Motive, where the works on the upcoming "Star Wars Battlefront 2" are being planned and made. The remaining BioWare Montreal's staff will either work and focus on the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" multiplayer content or move to the new BioWare IP, the GameSpot reported.

However, EA made some clarification to the media that the there hasn't been any downsizing plans for BioWare Montreal. EA explained that some developer's staff have been moved to EA Motive to help only with the other gaming works.

BioWare still committed to supporting the newly launched action RPG, including the game's growing fanbase. In fact, the release of the latest patch 1.07 indicates the studio's strong commitment to supporting the game.
