Apple Inc. will unveil new laptops during its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, also known as WWDC 2017 event. The tech giant will refresh the MacBook Pro with Intel's new seventh-gen processors. The company also considered to update the aging MacBook Air.

The Cupertino based tech titan is planning to announce its new laptop lineup at the WWDC 2017 event, which takes place from June 5 to June 9. The tech giant will reportedly launch its latest MacBook and the MacBook Pro 2017, and is also considering updating the MacBook Air 13-inch variant, which has not been upgraded in years, Bloomberg reported.

The MacBook Pro 2017 is said to come with Intel's faster Kaby Lake processor. The tech company is also working on a new MacBook 12-inch model with a faster Intel chip. As for the aging MacBook Air, Apple will update the 13-inch variant with a new processor.

The tech giant has not refreshed the MacBook Air with a sharper display, which is one of the most requested upgrades, but it appears to be slowly going down the drain. If Apple refreshes it, that means the company plans to offer the MacBook Air for the foreseeable future. However, if Apple does not, the MacBook Air will be replaced by the MacBook, CNBC reported.

Nevertheless, although the new MacBook Pro 2017 will look much like the previous model, but the upcoming Apple machine will mostly differ in internal architecture. The tech giant has also been working on a new in-house chip for a future MacBook Pro that manages the low-power mode of the laptop, but it is still unclear whether the device will be included in the lineup this coming June.

Along with the MacBook lineup, the tech company is also expected to announce an update to macOS, watchOS and tvOS at the WWDC 2017 event. Apple is also expected to announce the Apple Pay development.
