With the release of the latest trailer, Sony and Naughty Dog recently announced that the standalone story expansion "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" will be launched soon in North America and Europe on August. Players will finally be able to play the female heroines introduced a few months back.

The game developer and publisher have recently announced that "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" will be launched this coming Aug. 22 in North America, and Aug. 23 in Europe on the PlayStation 4. The developers revealed that they have been hard at work ever since they revealed the story expansion at the recent PSX event, according to the official website of Naughty Dog.

"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" Price And Freebies

"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" will only cost $39.99, and the pre-orders for it at all participating retailers and the PlayStation Store will include a free digital copy of "Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy." For the PlayStation Store pre-orders, interested buyers will get the story expansion's theme, which was designed by Truant Pixel.

"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" Freebie From "Uncharted 4"

For owners of the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" Digital Deluxe Edition, Explorer's Pack, or the Triple Pack, they will get "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" as a free digital download when it launches. The pre-order bonuses, however, will not be available to those owners of these products.

"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" Might Be Over 10 Hours Long

Naughty Dog Head of Communications Arne Meyer said that "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" might be over 10 hours long because they could not keep it short. They were asked some years ago that if they were ever going to do a single-player expansion for the franchise, they would not have the self-discipline to do so. If they tried, they would make a full game, Gamespot reported.

Meyer revealed that when they were doing story pitches, they came up with a game that would be over 10 hours long. In the end, they realized that everything they said was true, and they could not keep it short.
