While "Mass Effect: Andromeda" was easily cracked and pirated in just 10 days after its launch, it turns out that the pirates will not have the updated version of the game due to an updated anti-piracy code. This dilemma left them with a PC version that had bugs and weird faces.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" Pirated Version Not Updated

The current version of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" that the pirates have is the day one version only, which means it will be plagued with tons of bugs. The latest version, which has the big 1.05 patch, has an updated anti-piracy code that made it difficult for the pirates to crack the update one. The one that the pirates cracked had the outdated version of Denuvo's anti-tamper technology, while the new version currently has four games that have been uncrackable so far, Dark Side Of Gaming reported.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" Pirated Version Inferior

Interested players who will download the pirated version of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will have to endure the inferior features of the game. They will have to play the game with characters that have artificial looking eyes, buggy animations, and many more issues, which were complained constantly by the ones who bought it on day one, Polygon reported.

Old Denuvo Protection Compromised By Hackers

The old version of the Denuvo protection was compromised by hackers a few months ago. This allowed them to pirate one of the popular video games at that time, which was "Resident Evil 7," within just a week of its release date. The company did admit that their protection software is not 100 percent impenetrable, but it does promise that it can lengthen the time and effort it takes for hackers to pirate it.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" Fan Theory About Vetra Nyx

A fan of the "Mass Effect" game franchise recently revealed a theory about a crew member of the Shephard team, which was Vetra Nyx, and her long lost father. The theory was that Vetra's father is actually Saren Arterius, the Reaper's envoy, and the main villain from the first "Mass Effect" game. Several points were revealed that could make a lot of sense about the connection like the last name Nyx is actually a goddess in a certain mythology whose father is Chaos, he posted on the official website of Reddit.
