Stay Connected With Us F T R

The truth is, we do not live in a perfect world and not everyone would like us. In return, we would not be able to like everybody else as well. The question is: How to exist peacefully with the people you love and the people you hate?

Do not bite

According to Business Insider, Dr. Berit Brogaard, a neuroscientist, recently explained that gossip and bullying at work or at school are methods of a power play. They both intend to make the victim fall into submission. We will meet people who will try to focus on our flaws no matter how hard we try to avoid them. The trick is: Do not bite because the worst thing to ignite a conflict is to be defensive.

Demand for space

The smartest thing to do is to mark the space between yourself and those you do not like. However, do not ignore them because they would only notice you more. Just be casual. In class, it is better to sit far from the people you do not like to avoid confrontations.

Pick your fights

Basically, you have to learn the art of letting go. Just look at it as if not everything is worth your time and energy, which is actually true. The best way to do this is to assess the situation by asking yourself if the issue is more likely to pass in time or if it could get worse. Only the latter requires a little intervention to prevent costly things from happening.

Take a deep breath

Per Life Hack, it is normal. You are not the only one on Earth experiencing that feeling of having to deal with people you do not like on a daily basis. Everything is fine. Do not take it so seriously.

Act accordingly

In the first place, lesser people would hate you if you act properly. Thus, if everyone acts properly, lesser people would hate each other. While you do not have to agree with a person at all times, you should be polite. You could always remain firm on your principles but not appear as if you are attacking someone.
