Apple just released the fifth watchOS 3.2 beta for the Apple Watch. Here are the software update's most notable features and additions.

Theater Mode is probably the software update's biggest functionality. With Theater Mode, users can mute their wearable's sounds fast and prevent the screen from waking up when they raise their wrist. This is perfect for when you're -- for instance -- in a cinema, a concert hall or if you're in a meeting in the office.

Theater Mode still allows Apple Watch owners to receive notifications and haptics. If you're ready to get out of the mode and access those notifications, you can do so by tapping the screen or pressing the wearable's Digital Crown, according to 9to5Mac.

Apple's watchOS 3.2 beta 5 also reorganized the Control Center. Here's the new arrangement (from top to bottom right): Battery, Airplane Mode, Mute, Do Not Disturb, Find My iPhone, Water Lock, Theater Mode and AirPlay.

SiriKit was introduced, too, so users can integrate their third-party apps with Apple's voice assistant, Siri. The six apps SiriKit will be available to are: Photo Search in a specific app, ride booking (Uber, for example), messaging, VoIP calling (like Viber and Skype), Workouts and payments.

Apple Watch owners can download the software update over the air. First and foremost, you should place your wearable on its magnetic charger and then launch the Watch app on your iPhone. After, go to the General tab and then Software Update. If the update is available for download, select Download and tap Install.

Backing up Health & Activity fitness data to the Apple Watch's iPhone companion should be done via the encrypted option or via iCloud. The non-encrypted backup can lose all your exercise data, running times and more, Macworld warned.

The Apple Watch Series 3 is expected to be released in the second half of 2017, probably in September, PC Advisor reported from Taiwanese news outlet, Digitimes. There are speculations that there is going to be an 'S' model that has more storage, perhaps 4 or 8 GB.

The purported wearable will not have huge changes in its design, but the major improvement will happen on the device's battery life. There are claims that Apple will use a micro-LED screen that will help conserve battery.

A patent filed by Apple revealed that the tech giant is gunning for multi-function straps called Magnetic Wristband. The latter's magnets will attach the straps to the device's body, but it can also roll up so the wearable is in a standing position.
