Nintendo has some big announcement this week. The Japanese gaming giant wants to talk more about "The Legend of Zelda" and has announced that it will hold a panel about the high-fantasy action adventure game at this year's Game Developers Conference (GDC).

According to the gaming website Polygon, Nintendo developers will be hosting a panel on the development of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at the upcoming GDC gaming conference next month. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PT on March 1 at the Moscone Center and will be made available for online viewing at the GDC official website the following week.

The GDC panel, which titled Change and Constant - Breaking Conventions with "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," will feature three Nintendo developers namely: Takuhiro Dohta (technical director), Satoru Takizawa (art director) and Hidemaro Fujibayashi (Nintendo game director).

The GDC panel will provide an in-depth look at how Zelda's wide-ranging conventions breaking traditions were made. The panel will talk more about the game's changes and how the developers managed to break the long-running Zelda tradition.T

The upcoming big gaming conference will take place just a couple of days before the official launch of "The Legend of Zelda" on the upcoming hybrid game console, Nintendo Switch. Additionally, the new Zelda game will also release for the Nintendo Wii U.

First announced in 2013, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed by Nintendo for the Wii U video game and the upcoming hybrid game console Nintendo Switch.

The game, which said to be the nineteenth main installment in the long-running Zelda series, is set in Hyrule and follows amnesiac protagonist Link, which was awakened from a deep sleep and was guided by the mysterious voice to defeat the beast known as Calamity Ganon.

For those who cannot attend they can still watch the big gaming event via GDC website.
