Apple's Next-Gen Smartphone Will Feature Radical Design

Few months away before its rumored release, the presumptive iPhone 8 is rumored to have undergone a major redesign. For this reason, Apple's next-gen smartphone will feature a radical design that has never been seen before in a smartphone.

Apple iPhone 8 radical design is said to include an edgeless display that comes with a curved OLED panel. In a YouTube channel called ConceptsiPhone, a video was shown describing how compelling it was if only iPhone 8 would truly sport the latest technology on display, BGR reported.

In the same YouTube video, a mocked up Touch Bar also appears on the area where the top and bottom bezels are previously located. According to the same publication, iPhone 8 with Touch Bar is not impossible because Apple and third-party apps have the possibility to take advantage of the phone's larger display by coming up with a more innovative functionality.

Apple iPhone 8 Advantages Over Samsung Galaxy S8

There are many elements that are common among all the smartphones across the globe but Apple iPhone 8 is expected to stand out among its toughest rival most especially the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. According to Forbes, iPhone 8 has two winning features: OLED display and processor chipsets.

Deviating from previous iPhones that use LCD display, OLED display will deliver more vivid and brighter colors for iPhone 8 but Apple is said to rely on Samsung for the bulk supply of OLED panels. On the other hand, Apple has also an advantage when it comes to processor just because they manufactured their own.

Previous iPhones, iPads and iPods are known for using ARM chips which contributes to the efficiency and devices' faster performance. Apple's known rivals such as Samsung, LG and Google are said to be using Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets.
