The Asus ZenFone 3S Max will hit markets next week. The low-end smartphone's specs and features have been revealed, with its battery capacity taking center stage.

The device is equipped with a whopping 5,000 mAh battery, which promises to provide juice to the handset for more than two days on just a single charge, NDTV reported. This is good news for consumers looking for a stronger battery life without having to shell out plenty of cash.

Many smartphones out in the market only last for a day and less on a single charge, so the 5,000 mAh battery capacity of the Asus ZenFone 3S Max is very much welcome.

Asus' latest smartphone comes with a MediaTek processor, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of storage. The device's all-metal built comes with a 5.2-inch 720p screen display, with its fingerprint scanner embedded into the Home button like what's seen in other handsets.

The handset has a 13-megapixel primary camera and an 8 MP front-facing snapper for selfies. Asus promised that the smartphone can be unlocked in 0.5 seconds and is capable of recognizing up to five fingers. The user must click on the sensor first before it can scan a fingertip.

The device's headphone jack can be found on the top, with the bottom housing the microUSB port, microphone (flanked in between the other buttons) and loudspeaker, according to a report from GSM Arena. The smartphone's size puts it in the middle of the smaller 5.0-inch devices and the bigger phones with a 5.5-inch display. Though its size makes for an easier grip, the handset has the tendency to slip from the user's hands because of its curved sides.

The device runs using ZenUI 3.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It also supports multi-window mode, ZenMotion Touch Gesture and the hacking device Game Genie, among others. Granted, these specs aren't that spectacular but it's pretty satisfying for a low-priced smartphone like the Asus ZenFone 3S Max.

The device is rolling out in India on Tuesday, Feb. 7, with other markets expected to follow soon, GSM Arena reported. What do you think of the Asus ZenFone 3S Max?
