Samsung and Google may not all bitter rivals. In fact, during the earnings call, the South Korean tech giant revealed that it will collaborate with Google to better the AI on various devices to come.

Samsung has been reportedly working on its own digital assistant, Bixby Vision, according to CNET. It's probably wise to consider a few suggestions from Google, noting that it has done successfully with Pixel's Google Assistant.

It is safe to assume that the collaboration could mean that Samsung might license its AI to third party or developing a smarter voice-activated assistant. Bixby is meant to be a versatile assistant in many platforms and the partnership with Google seems to corroborate the technology's purpose to reach wider range of hardware.

Artificial intelligence is a huge thing and Samsung is clearly planning to differentiate its product with Bixby Vision - a trademark expected in Galaxy S8 or Note 8 this year.  

LG G6 to use Google Assistant

Meanwhile, there have been reports stating that LG G6 will likely getting digital assistance from Google Assistant, Express reported. This could mean that Google will launch its very-own developed AI to other devices other than the Pixel phones.

If the rumor is to be believed, G6 will be the first non-Pixel handset to feature Google Assistant and this marks the end of Pixel's exclusivity. The speculation gets further as LG is reportedly considering Amazon's Alexa to be integrated to the company's future flagships.

LG G6 is said to be unveiled at MWC 2017 in the coming month with few odd things expected. Whether or not visitors will see Google Assistant or Alexa present in the handset, that remains to be confirmed.
