Japanese gaming giant Nintendo has just confirmed that the Intelligent Systems' tactical role-playing game "Fire Emblem Warriors" would be made available on its upcoming game console, Nintendo Switch.

The "Fire Emblem" series made a short brief appearance at the recent Nintendo Switch Presentation event. Day after that big Nintendo Switch event, Nintendo came back, once again, but this time with a big announcement, the "Fire Emblem" will get its own Nintendo Direct next week.

Nintendo said that it will host a Nintendo Direct devoted to the role-playing game on Jan. 18, 2017. The event will be called "Fire Emblem Nintendo Direct," and it will open the door for some Nintendo discussion, including the company's upcoming "Fire Emblem" mobile game. Gamers will get details more about the game next week, according to GameSpot.

Nintendo made the big announcement during Nintendo Treehouse live stream, though they did not clarify how long the event will last for.

What To Expect From Fire Emblem Warriors And Nintendo Next Week
During its Nintendo Switch Presentation event, the Japanese company has rolled a teaser for the game "Fire Emblem Warriors." It also showed brief footage of the Koei Tecmo, the same developer responsible for "Hyrule Warriors." However, Nintendo did not confirm whether the game would be available at Nintendo Switch launch.

As what to expect from the game, the "Fire Emblem Warriors," will be similar to other games in the Warriors franchise, according to GameRant. Nintendo is expected to fully reveal the game and also its release date in the upcoming Nintendo Direct event next week.

In addition, Nintendo is also working on a Fire Emblem mobile game set in the "Fire Emblem" franchise. That's another game that Nintendo could easily fill an entire Nintendo direct event.

The Nintendo Switch will be launched on March 3. Price will start at $299.
