Looking at LG G6 specifications, the South Korean company seems to be betting big this year. Here are the five things to expect on its release date!

Weird aspect ratio

When LG G6's first leak came, no one questions about the 5.7-inch display and its whopping 6 GB of RAM. Even the Snapdragon 830 isn't a surprise at all. However, a recent report suggests that the G5 successor might have an unusual display's aspect ratio. The Verge has noted that G6's screen will have 18:9 aspect ratio, a slight shift from the conventional 16:9.

That being the case, LG G6 will have a wider space to add something on. The act of slimming the bezel has been done by Xiaomi with its Mi Mix but the G6 could be the first handset sporting taller display.

Higher pixel density

Still about the display, LG G6 is said to have 564 ppi pixel density, according to GSM Arena. This makes an extremely gorgeous outdoor visibility.  To put into perspective, LG V20 has the same screen resolution but it has lower pixel density of 513 ppi.

In addition to the ultra-crisp screen, LG is said to equip G6 with dual-lens camera module with 16 MP sensor, that features OIS 3-axis, laser autofocus and LED Flash.

No more mods

LG admitted its failure when it launched the G5 as modular phone. During an interview with CNET, the company's chief technology officer, Skott Ahn, hinted at LG's comeback to a conventional approach instead of going mods.

It is safe to assume that LG G6 will not be anything like the G5 in term of design and functionality. In fact, the G6 could be something completely different from the older sibling.

Non-removable battery

LG will reportedly equip the G6 with non-removable battery, according to Android Headlines. The tech geeks have split opinion regarding this matter as many have hoped that LG would retain the removable battery the way it does with G5.

LG G6 will likely be introduced at MWC 2017.
