Generations who followed "The Magic School Bus" would know about the elementary school teacher, Miss Frizzle, and her group of students who traveled on a magical school bus. The bus takes them on spectacular field trips. Their destinations are mostly impossible to reach like the clouds, past events in history, the galaxy and even inside the human body.

Now, "The Magic School Bus" is making a come back. The focus is to teach the newer generations about STEM. The red-headed teacher and her pet lizard made their last appearance on television on December 6, 1997 and had several reruns on different television networks after that.

This time, Netflix and Scholastic Media announced that Ms. Frizzle is coming back to Netflix, as reported by Education Week. Stu Stone, who used to voice Ralphie in the original series and is currently the show's producer said Ms. Frizzle is taking the kids on a confidential field trip.

"The Magic School Bus" reboot will return many of the original characters and will also welcome newer and younger voices. Stone teased that there will be potential celebrity cameos, too.

Netflix's Chief Content Officer, Ted Sarandos, explained to New York Times that the show teaches science in a way that surpasses generations. "The Magic School Bus" will take viewers on a trip that promotes science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The Netflix reboot hopes that the new generation of kids will find the magic of discovery in "The Magic School Bus." Scholastic Media said that in order to make the show much more relate-able and current, the bus is reported to be much more high-tech this time. It will have modern science tools and will include robots and smart space suits.

"The Magic School Bus" revival is arriving at a perfect time because of a nationwide push for STEM Education. President Barack Obama himself championed STEM for many years under his administration. The show is expected to be released within 2017.
