The deadline for submission of college applications for many popular higher education institutions might have passed already, but those who are still hoping to apply to a good college or university still have good choices left for them.

MorraLee Keller, director of technical assistance for the National College Access Network, told TIME that although many colleges have indeed stop receiving applications already, but there hundreds more that still accept applications.

These colleges, more than 500 of them, have deadlines that fall between Jan. 15 and Aug. 15 for the fall 2017 academic year. There are also well over 200 colleges that offer rolling admissions, and will take in as many students as they can to fill their classes.

This simply means that college-bound students still have a lot of good options, said Keller.

Here's a list of 50 colleges that TIME ranked highly for value. They are organized according to deadline dates, starting from Jan. 10.
