A University of Houston student was groped and flashed by an unidentified man in the school's library. The incident happened on Thursday.

Click2Houston reported that the University of Houston police have already began the search for the assailant. On Thursday at around 12:30 p.m., a man touched Vishi Agrawal's buttocks and exposed himself at the same time.

The incident happened on the eighth floor of the M.D. Anderson Library in the school's campus. Agrawal was able to leave the area using the stairs. She did not have injuries.

She deemed the ordeal as scary especially since she just entered the campus. She added that the University of Houston has a "good name in terms of safety." The school's police department is currently investigating the incident. They confirmed that the man did not have a weapon and was not seen using a vehicle as well.

The assailant is said to be black with a fade haircut and within 20 to 25 years old. He is believed to be as tall as about 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches and had medium build, weighing around 160 to 170 pounds. Chron added that he was wearing all black clothes and jacket.

There have been several reports of sexual assault in colleges and universities across the nation. This has led to growing concerns over safety in campuses.

Recently, Stanford University has issued a statement in response to an article by the New York Times about a sexual assault case filed by one of its students. The school slammed the post as having "many inaccuracies."

Loyola University Chicago students were also outraged at how an accused rapist was able to roam around campus. Ben Holm is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl in May 2013 while he was still a high school senior.

An online petition was even created to demand answers from the institution about how Holm was able to attend classes and even receive a scholarship by playing golf for three years amidst charges against him.
