For the second time around, Huawei-made Google Nexus 6P device has faced yet another issue since its upgrade to Android 7 Nougat firmware. From battery issues to bootloop, is the latest beta of Google firmware damaging the Android-operated devices? See full details here!

Nexus 6P Bootloop Reportedly Cause by Android Nougat Update

Google Nexus 6P devices are currently facing issues related to bootloop. During the initial assessment conducted by Google, the problem appears to be a hardware issue, thus, the search giant issued an official statement to all Nexus 6P users to contact their respective places of purchase for repair options or replacement for that matter, according to Digital Trends.

However, just recently, it has been reported that the bootloop issues in Nexus 6P appears to be caused by the Android 7.1.1 Nougat firmware update and not some hardware-related reasons. According to users complaints thru Reddit, Google has been mishandling the same problem from Nexus 5X and thus, such ambivalence has expanded to its successor Nexus 6P.

On the other hand, the claim has been supported by that one incident during the release of Android Nougat for Developers Preview when Nexus 6P was marred with issues of boot looping, according to MobiPicker. However, the incident has not become so apparent because one Google employee has been very quick in saying that the issue has only been affecting few Nexus 6P units and the rest is attributable to hardware-relate problems.

For technical information, bootloop happens when a certain device was turned on by the user but keep on restarting over and over again without passing through the Google logo. Meanwhile, there is no solution found for this type of issues found in smartphones.

Google Pixel Phones Experience the Same Problem

The newly launched Google Pixel phones have reportedly experiencing the same problem with Nexus 6P. According to Forbes, Pixel phones unexpectedly shutting down even if there's still enough battery to power the device and it usually happens when the phone reaches 30 percent.
