It is that time of the year once again where many individuals, professionals, families and even students are wondering how they are going to spend the next year. And it usually starts with making a list of 2017 New Year's Resolutions.

Winter break is almost over and for students, the dread or excitement, for some, of going back to college or university is nearing. The classes for next semester is something a lot of undergrads are facing but career plans and school plans are oftentimes a part of everyone's 2017 New Year's Resolutions, as reported by U Loop.

While these students would need to pack up and move back to their dorms and attend classes, online class students have a different life style.

Here is a list of 2017 New Year's Resolutions that those who are thinking of taking online classes can consider.

1. If you are planning to take online classes, it is important to invest in a calendar or a similar app that can assist you with scheduling online classes and personal agendas. 2. Online classes can be a breeze but sometimes the comfort and advantages can persuade the individual to forget that they have a scheduled class. It is important to figure out how much time one can dedicate to each class and commit to stick to that schedule.

3. The benefit for some people when it comes to taking online classes is zero face time with teachers and students. However, it is sometimes an advantage to get into a study group. It is a means of communicating with other people in the same class.

4. The luxury of taking online classes in pajamas can sometimes demotivate a person. Treat the class as an actual lecture. Dressing up can be a tip or going to a library or a cafe can also help when it comes to a change in environment.
