Celebrities may have the high profile and glamorous life as many viewers or fans may see. But sometimes these stars have a past that can be similar to that of most Americans or teenagers everywhere.

For instance, former "The Hills" and "Laguna Beach" celebrity star Kristin Cavallari said that she was bullied in school, as reported by People. She and many other celebrities have personal experiences about bullies, being bullied in school and even cyber bullying.

Kristin Cavallari said that she had to cope hard. She states that people who are bullying her on social media are coming from an insecure place. Cavallari says that it is not about her, it is about them. She suggests blocking them and delete the comments.

Olivia Holt, who is known for her stunts in Disney Channel has struggled during middle school and high school. She is only 19 years old now but she explained that her experiences are stressful and painful.

Victoria Justice has also experienced being bullied in school. At one point, she was not invited to a supposed friend's bat mitzvah because she was accused of going to try and steal the attention because she was a famous TV actress.

Now, they are learning to cope. Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi said that it was hard for her to fit in and would get teased in school. She was teased because of her name, her lunch food and how she looked. She recalls one time that a girl named Sylvia bullied her in seventh grade. There was also a time that somebody punched her in the face. Lakshmi recalls feeling alone and scared. She even changed her name because of bullying, as reported by Perez Hilton.

Even Sara Rue, known for her work in "Less than Perfect," had her share of bullies. Her advice is to always believe in yourself and never let them get you down.
