College Track is an educational organization that provides services for low income students. And it has the support of former Black Eyed Peas member Will.i.am

Bill DeBaun, the director of Data and Evaluation at the National College Access Network, said that College Track has invested a huge amount of time to foster meaningful relationships with students.

A student who benefited from College Track said he would have been lost if it was not for the program, as reported by Diverse Education. Students who were under the program were able to secure scholarship funds. A student named Valdez was able to do just that. He was able to enroll at UC Merced with the funds coming from CT which can amount up to $36,000, as reported by College Data.

This would never have happened if it was not for the former Black Eyed Peas band member, Will.i.am. College Track started in Boyle Heights, where the Grammy Award winner hails from. He is a known artist, entertainer, philanthropist and tech enthusiast.

His real name is William Adams and he got bussed out of Boyle Heights when he was a young boy to attend John Marshall High School. When he learned about College Track a few years ago, the singer fell in love with the program and encouraged the board to include Boyle Heights in their goals.

To make sure this happens, he donated $1 million to support College Track for the next for years. But this commitment was made five years ago. Since then, he has always contributed financially to the cause and officially became a board member.

He is not only a financial sponsor of College Track but also a committed artist. He announced that the proceeds of the new version of "Where is the love" will go to his I.am.angel Foundation which is a direct support of College Track. Because of Will.i.am's commitment, his foundation and College Track was able to send 45 students to college.
