Telltale Games this week has released the first full trailer for the next installment of the critically acclaimed "The Walking Dead." The next installment, which titled "The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, reintroduces players and fans to Clementine and the new character named Javier.

The new season of TellTale Games' "The Walking Dead" game are set to debut this coming Dec. 20 along with the two-episode premiere, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The new season will introduce the players to the New Frontiers, a group similar to Negan's Saviors. Humanity has started to recover from the zombie apocalypse, and now it threatens to rival the walkers. It looks like the humanity is getting bad in this newly released footage.

The trailer also leaves players with even less hope when it found out that Javier's family are alive by the time it encounters Clementine. The trailer also introduced a sinister new group called the New Frontier, which said to bear a striking resemblance to Negan's Saviors.

According to Polygon, the old stalwart, Clementine, will emerge from the frightened grade-schooler for whom she put her life on the line in Season One. Today, Clementine acting first, and no longer being acted upon by this cruel world. Javier, like Clementine three years ago, will be searching for his family. Teaser copy suggests he and Clementine have more in common than they may think.

Developed and published by TellTale Games, "The Walking Dead" game series is based on the comic series of the same name. The game takes place in a fictional world and started at the onset of a zombie apocalypse in Georgia, where dead humans have become undead that feeds on the living one.
