It seems that most fans and gamers, especially those who dub themselves members of the PC master race, will be delighted to hear that an acclaimed fighting game franchise has recently been released to PC. Reports show that "Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition" is now available to these same fans on Windows 10 via the Xbox Play Anywhere. Moreover, fans might have the chance to see a "Mortal Kombat" and "Killer Instinct" cross-over as both developers have shown signs of interest.

It was recently reported that "Killer Instincts: Definitive Edition" is now available on Windows 10, which contains all of the released DLCs (downloadable contents) to the game, VG24/7 has learned. IT was said that fans can now try out on their PC all the 26 characters, 20 stages, and all the available costumes of the playable characters.

But the buck does not stop there; fans will also get a chance to preview the behind-the-scenes videos, concept art, and a full universe map of "Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition."

Moreover, the source pointed out that the game will also be available as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. As such, it was said that fans of "Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition" can now progress in the game on either the Xbox One or Windows 10 through the supported cross-play feature.

In other news, Ed Boon has previously expressed his interest in the idea of having a "Mortal Kombat" and "Killer Instinct" cross-over via tweet on his official Twitter account. He said that, as a fan of the game, a cross-over between the two titles would have to be an Xbox exclusive.

Albeit there hasn't been any recent news confirming if this will come into fruition, fans are hopeful that "Killer Instincts" gets a cross-over with the acclaimed "Mortal Kombat" franchise.

"Killer Instinct" was developed through the combined efforts of Double Helix Games, Iron Galaxy Studios and Microsoft Studios. It was released back in 2013 as a free-to-play game. as an Xbox One exclusive, and serves as a reboot of the acclaimed series.
