The promo of the season finale of "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 shows Amy Farrah Fowler trying to seduce her boyfriend Sheldon Cooper by wearing a Harry Potter robe. Unfortunately, Amy's birthday celebration is cut short when Penny knocks on the door and exclaims, "Bernadette's water broke." Leonard then says, "Everyone to the hospital!"

According to Travelers Today, the new episode of "The Big Bang Theory", "The Birthday Synchronicity" will have momentous occasions happening. The synopsis read, "Bernadette is taken to the hospital to have her baby. Sheldon and Amy are trying to have Amy's birthday sex." Sheldon and Amy having sex is such a momentous occasion because Sheldon decided he will only have sex once a year and decided to do it on Amy's birthday.

Executive Producer Steve Molaro, according to Variety, revealed, "As far as this being some sort of sellout or giant shift in the character, I think it's lines like that that allow us to have such a momentous occasion, but it still can feel very much like Sheldon and Amy- Sheldon saying that we did this thing, but we're only going to do it once a year is an example of us holding the character intact, even when something this monumental happens." Sitcoms as long running like "The Big Bang Theory" have a history of advancing relationships to the next level in order to stay fresh.

"The Big Bang Theory" stars Jim Parsons as Sheldon Cooper, Johnny Galecki as Leonard Hofstadter, Kunal Nayyar as Raj Koothrappali, Kaley Cuoco as Penny, Simon Helberg as Howard Wolowitz, Melissa Rauch as Bernadette Rostenkowski and Mayim Bialik as Amy Farrah Fowler. It airs every Thursday night on CBS after Thursday Night Football. The creators of the comedy are Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady.
